Human Subjects Training
NIH-funded investigators who intend to conduct research using human subjects are required to obtain training and submit a certification of training in human subjects research methods and guidelines to the NIH. This training can be obtained through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) or through the NIH Office of Extramural Research.
