SC INBRE looks forward to welcoming you to our 2023 Academic Leadership and Career Development Workshop, an in-person day of learning and networking!
Join us on Friday, June 16 in Columbia!
The ALCDW23 will be held in the University Conference Center on the 8th Floor of the Close-Hipp Buildings on the USC Main Campus in Columbia (same building as last year, different floor!). LIMITED free reserved parking is available.
What is the ALCDW?
The Academic Leadership and Career Development Workshop (ALCDW) is about you for you! Each spring we release a survey of topics and build the workshop around the topics with the highest amount of interest. Two tracks are offered – one focused for students and on for faculty/staff/postdocs. Each of the sessions are intended to enhance your career development and/or grant proposal success.
Who can attend?
Anyone! Although ALCDW is focused on STEMM — NIH and NSF — we welcome all to attend. Sessions are for any academic rank — from high school summer research students to faculty and staff members, and all in between.
What is the cost?
NOTHING! The workshop is free! (We even include lunch!) LIMITED free reserved parking is also available. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
